Welcome 2022! A word of gratitude from us to you.
Charity Nyathira, our Director of Operations:
Hello, Mugumo Project team—sponsors, donors, and all our well wishers! Its with a great appreciation that you all walked every step that we made in this past year. Thanks for joining this precious journey that I know it was not easy, but guess what? We made it together!
Join me to celebrate the milestone that make our joy countless, seeing sponsored girls and boys progressing on with their studies through thin and thick in the journey.
So happy for Tatu who had stopped schooling, and through much encouragement and keeping hope alive, he will be continuing with his studies next year in a technical school. I can’t wait to see him back in school again and a big thank you to his sponsor.
Mary, also who has been struggling with an identification of belonging, thanks her sponsors for your determination to see that it is all sorted and to make sure that her studies continue. Her happiness is checked to the best that you can. Thank you for your big heart and a heart of love.
Joyce Wambui, young and beautiful soul, has been struggling during the school holidays. Thank you very much for making sure that even during the holidays you still support us to go and visit her and making sure her track in the journey of education is smooth and successful.
As for Maria, having have come from Nairobi Children’s Rescue Centre and now learning in an international school, and exposed to boys and girls from other countries. She is learning new languages like French and Spanish. Her self esteem is raised, her confidence, and many other things I’m seeing in her. Thanks to her sponsors for selecting the best for her and going extra mile to pay her huge fees.
Jane, as the pioneer, being ahead of the boys and girls and being in her second year/3rd semester, I’m so grateful to the support she receives from this organization! She has learned lots of skills in her engineering course and very determined to acquire more knowledge in completion of her course. Thank you to her generous sponsors!
Aeneah, this is a cool young man who is also appreciating his sponsors to help him school in primary level and now in high school level. A prayer of gratitude to praise and please this his sponsor’s family for what they are part to help shape his destiny.
Paul, Abraham, Irene, Precious, Vanessa, and Peninah are still in school. On their behalf, my heart glows with tons of appreciation to their sponsors and the credible work to keep them in school. Learning and gaining knowledge is the best tool in life to help them bridge over to the land of self resilience.
Elvis, the youngest in the organization and also the newest to join the boarding school, is very happy. His dream in boarding school is ushering him to his best dreams in life. Thank you to his sponsor!
I, as their guardian and a mother to all, thank you for being a great team. You are the best. Thank you for having us in your heads, hearts, and in your hands.
Happy New Year and God bless you all!
Charity Nyathira

I write this letter to express my heartfelt gratitude towards working with the Mugumo Project, as we continue brightening the lives of the vulnerable and the less fortunate children in the society.
My appreciation equally goes to the board members, for the support they have accorded us even during these global challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
On behalf of children and the entire team, I say thank you so much.
The year has been having several challenges, occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic, but by God's grace, we've weathered the Storm through your support.
