End of an Era: Farewell, Teacher Judi!

Ten years ago, the Mugumo Project started a new chapter—sponsoring a teacher at Nairobi Children’s Home. After interviewing many qualified and enthusiastic candidates, we found a true gem in Judith Randiek. Judi embraced the challenges of working at NCH with unwavering vision and a whole-hearted love for the hundreds of children who have passed through her classroom over the years. Her passion and motivation have been a bright light for us all.

It is with glad, but heavy hearts that we are ending our teacher sponsoring program and saying farewell to our dear Judi. As time marches on, the Mugumo Project is re-focusing our resources to guide our sponsored children over the finish line of secondary school graduation, college, and beyond.

Judi, we thank you for your years of service at Nairobi Children’s Home, for your hard work and dedication. We look forward to hearing about the wonderful things to come in your future!

A note from Judi:

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for your overwhelming support, that has shown a tremendous impact in my life.

I can not thank you enough for the years I worked under Mugumo Foundation. Your support and partnership played a key role in the success of teacher - child education at Nairobi Children's Home.

It saddens me that I'll no longer be part of Mugumo family, but I would like you to know that I am forever grateful for the support, selflessness and dedication towards the vulnerable children at Nairobi Children's Home. Your willingness to go above and beyond to helping others was a true testament to your kindness and generosity.

Going forward, I decided to open a daycare for children ages 2-3 years. My desire is for it to grow from one level to another. The years I worked with Mugumo, reaching out to vulnerable children, gave me enough experience to run my own daycare.

Mugumo Foundation also gave me an opportunity to learn, grow, and to become better. It facilitated my psychology course at Amani Counselling Centre, and I am indeed grateful. In case another chance arises in future, in the area of counseling, I would be more than willing to offer my services.

Thank you so much and I wish you all the best in your endeavors. God bless you and God bless Mugumo Project Foundation.

Best Regards,

Teacher Judi.
